The Women’s Activities Portfolio held an informative session on the use of online social platforms. The aim being to assist jamati members to build social networks and relations with people who share similar personal or career interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections, at the same time to be aware of the dangers of social networks.
Our jamat’s youth in collaboration with WAP were available to give a future glimpse of how technology plays part in daily lives of youth and jamat in general.
In this session, answers to questions such as: how a simple and naïve conversation can actually lead to a devastating and life changing scene; what social networks posts are appropriate to be used and how many users exist in different social networks; is it true that social network sites can actually track an individual and his/her activities – were provided.
