During Navroz practical class, students from nursery to secondary level 5, packed Rozi Jura and learned the significance of the items in the Jura. After the class, parents set up a Haft Seen table for students to view. As Ismailis we celebrate Navroz in Jamat Khana. However, other communities around the world celebrate very differently from us. The Haft Seen table is tradition in countries such as Iran. There are seven special items with varying significance such as a mirror for self-reflection and an apple a day for good health.
