The Women’s Activity Portfolio Mwanza, in collaboration with the JHC, organized a Health Talk for the ladies of the Jamat and of the outside community.
This talk was on the topic of menopause and its related diseases. The facilitators were a team of four doctors from Calgary, Canada: Dr. Giselle Devetton and team.
Many ladies of the outside community participated together with our Jamati ladies and benefitted from the information imparted. This provided an excellent bridge building platform where common dialogue sprouted between groups of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
