In a unique and engaging initiative, ECD launched a Home-Based Kids Cooking Activity across all its centers in Tanzania and Zambia. This activity encouraged children to don their chef hats and create a delicious meal from a selection of fun and nutritious options: Pizza, Smoothie, Sandwich, and Salad.
Children participated enthusiastically from the comfort of their homes, learning basic culinary skills while experimenting with flavours and ingredients. Parents joined in, making it a delightful bonding experience that emphasized the importance of teamwork, creativity, and healthy eating.
This initiative not only allowed children to explore their culinary interests but also fostered a sense of inclusion and connection among the centers, despite the physical distance. The joy of creating something with their own hands made this activity an unforgettable experience for the little chefs and their families.
