Camp Ignite

Camp Ignite was a truly inspiring evening as youth from Mwanza who attended the Zanzibar camp shared their incredible experiences. They engaged with fellow youth, parents, and community leaders, celebrating their personal growth, sharing stories, and fostering a stronger sense of community.

Ongoing Sports Activities

  • Daily volleyball and throw ball practices continue with enthusiasm.
  • Inter-community friendly matches are held every Friday, bringing people together through sport.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Portfolio, tabletop games are now available for interested community members.
  • The events are complemented by delicious food and snacks available for purchase, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Volunteer Training Session: “KHIDMA”

A special session on KHIDMA (Volunteerism) was held for young and junior volunteers aged 6 to 18. Facilitated by Alwaez Altaf Mukhi, the session explored the importance and dynamics of volunteerism, inspiring the next generation to serve the community meaningfully.

Interactive Session for Senior Members: “Wonders of Zikr”

An engaging program was organized in collaboration with ITREB-Mwanza for senior members of the community aged 50 and above. Led by Alwaez Altaf Mukhi at the Jamatkhana premises, the session delved into the “Wonders of Zikr” and was attended by a large number of seniors who found it deeply enriching.

Al-Misbah Camp III – October 19–20, 2024

The annual Al-Misbah Camp, organized by AKYSB Mwanza, continues to be a transformative experience for youth. Facilitated by Alwaez Altaf Mukhi, this camp provides a platform for reflection and personal growth, equipping young participants with leadership skills for the future.

As part of the program, participants visited the Seventh Day Adventist Church, fostering interfaith understanding and broadening perspectives.
